Wendy- Oh my goodness! I am so sorry that I didn't get back to you earlier!!! I think I read your comment on my phone and then I totally forgot to answer you back.
To answer your question... We have been to Cancun/Riviera Maya 3 times in the last year and a half. This last time we stayed at the El Dorado Royale. It was okay... but places make me mad when they give you a horrible room and then you have to upgrade to get a better room. However the better room was MUCH better. We were with a big group and the staff did not like that. So the customer service was not what we were used to in Mexico--- by far.
A year ago we stayed at the Royal Hideaway and we thought that was great. We liked it a lot.
But this last May we stayed at a resort called Zoetry. And that was the bomb.com!!! We loved it and can't wait to go back. WE will not even consider going to another place. I cannot say enough great things about this place. It is a small boutique hotel with about 90 or so rooms. All rooms have a living room, bedroom, and large bathroom. The service is great. food is awesome. The pool isn't huge like some resorts, but we didn't care. It wasn't a big deal at all. WE did go during the whole swine flu in Mexico epidemic, which was awesome because no one was there! The hotel picks you up in your own private Navigator or Escalade with champagne waiting for you. That just sets the tone for the entire stay at that hotel. It was awesome! We loved it!! The beach was great at this hotel too (which the beach is not so great at the other hotels we've been to). Anyway--- we HIGHLY recommend Zoetry.

Molly is getting so big! Rita showed me pics at Thanksgiving of when she was here. She's darling!
I met my husband, Chris, four years ago. He has been a blessing to me. I met Chris during my darkest hour. I had just lost my beautiful son, Kass, in a car accident. I had lost my will and my spirit. Chris helped me to find myself again. He helped me to strengthen my faith in God. He has been a blessing to me and my son Hampton. Chris is a wonderful husband, friend, and father to our four children.
Chris and I married March 25, 2006. On March 20, 2007 God gave us a beautiful little girl. Our family is perfectly complete. We could not ask for more.<
